HOLLOWAY | N7
One protein, three salads, £4.90. It’s as simple as that at Moma’s Healthy Foods on Holloway Road. Take your pick from beef, chicken, lamb or salmon, and add any three salads from a huge array.
And when I say huge array, I mean huge. Chickpeas, roasted vegetables, couscous, two types of rice, aubergine, coleslaw, potato, kale, Greek, and many more that I didn’t even get round to tasting before making my choice.
In the end, I went for spicy chicken (a portion of two thighs) with rice, salad, and potatoes, and was presented with a meal box piled high. It was tasty and filling. And at £4.90, it's also incredibly good value.
Add to the mix the options of hot wraps packed with meat and salad for under £4, and salad boxes without the protein for just £4, and it’s easy to see why this place has a stream of hungry customers at lunch, and beyond.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s well worth popping into. A great addition to Holloway Road’s growing dining scene. Note: this is mostly a take away joint, with limited seating inside.
