SPITALFIELDS E1 | KING'S CROSS N1
Ladies and gentlemen, please be seated, for the next place I introduce delivers food of the highest standard at prices so crazy, they'll knock you off your feet.
This place isn't just a cheap eat. For me, it's the cheap eat.
The stuff you need to know: they serve delicious fire-baked, Roman-style, 12 inch, thin and crispy pizzas, cooked in three minutes flat, served at communal wooden tables, in an industrial-style canteen format. Their toppings rival any pizza joint's, with prices that make all the rest look silly.
How far does your £8 go? It covers any pizza on the entire menu, and one of them twice over. That's value no matter which way you slice it. My favourite is the classic margherita - at £3.95 it raises serious questions about the margins other places are adding on.
It also makes me question if I want to eat anything else other than pizza for the rest of my life.

You could get a tasty margherita (£3.95), as well as their meaty 'Pizzeria' salad (£3.95) - rocket, tomato, pepperoni, chicken, black olives and Parmesan - and still come under budget.
Or, you could get their funghi - with tomatoes, mozarella, mushrooms and thyme (£4.95) - as well as their Nutella and mascapone warm dough ring for dessert (£2.95).
Or perhaps the margherita, followed by the salted caramel, peanut, chocolate and mascapone dough ring (£3.95)?
Or you could just get two pizzas. The point is, the possibilities are (almost) endless.
Point to note, these guys don't take bookings or do delivery. Just waltz on in.
