KENTISH TOWN | NW5
Family-run Phoenicia Food Hall has been a staple in Kentish Town since it opened in 2003, with its supermarket section full of Mediterranean ingredients, and its tasty deli counter.
For £4 or less - depending on whether you eat in or not - you can grab yourself a wrap stuffed with any three fillings of your choice, from over a dozen choices.
First pick a Lebanese or Moroccan bread as a base; the latter with spinach and onions within dough, the former being more plain. Then select three fillings (meat or vegetarian) from a varied selection including sausage, falafel, beef, cheeses, salads, olives, dips, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more.
They’ll somehow manage to stuff it all into your wrap and send you on your merry way, whilst barely breaking the bank, and leaving you with both a filling and fairly healthy lunch or dinner.
And that’s not all. They also offer a selection of meat and vegetarian mains that you can pair with two sides, mixing and matching, at a maximum of £6.99 for the half roast chicken option. Quick, cheap, simple and delicious – it’s easy to see why Phoenicia Food Hall is so popular.
