Having established themselves on Battersea High Street as a sourdough bakery and brunch spot earlier this year, Flour To The People recently started opening up in the evenings with a sourdough pizza menu.

The dough isn't as squishy as I'm used to from the likes of Franco Manca and Pizza Pilgrims - instead it has a pleasing bite to it. A fine example of the margherita genre will set you back £7.75. 

The pizzas range from £7.75 to £12 and the calzone with ricotta, salami dolce, mozzarella and basil (£12) is worth splashing out on if you happen to find a few extra coins in your pocket. There's also a delicious £8 dessert pizza filled with Nocciolata Crema Di Cacao E Nocciole (translation: posh Nutella) that easily stretches to four. 

Note: Park Road Kitchen, another London Cheap Eats favourite, is just over the road!
