Pasta e Basta (Italian for "just pasta") have prided themselves on bringing restaurant quality pasta to the streets of London since 2012.

They make their pasta and sauces from scratch in small quantities in their East London kitchen, and use locally sourced ingredients, all listed here

In terms of flavour combinations, you can expect seasonal showstoppers such as roasted beetroot conchiglie with blue cheese sauce, hazelnuts and rocket; fusilli with sundried tomato and roasted garlic pesto, purple kale, and black olives; and the pictured paccheri with pork and fennel ragu and cavolo nero. And pasta boxes come with a slice of bread too - great for sauce mopping.

Hearty, home-cooked and full of flavour. These guys are a favourite with students and beyond when they trade at the Imperial and King's College campuses. Do keep an eye on the calendar on their website detailing their exact whereabouts, including any one-off locations.
