SPITALFIELDS | E1
Recently launched The Kitchens project in Old Spitalfields has cemented the market’s reputation as a haven for foodies and cheap eat hunters alike, with a plethora of options at every turn.
One of these is Sood Family, who serve up beautiful handmade pasta made fresh in the market every day, with a definite homemade vibe.
The menu is seasonal and so does often change, but there are usually two or three pasta dishes under our magic £8 mark. You wouldn't go wrong with any of them but if you happen to spot the lasagne (pictured), place your order immediately. It may not look pretty but boy does it make up for it by being bloody delicious.
They have three bar stools at their counter, but you can reserve one of the shared tables infront of them via their website, where you'll be served as if you were in their own restaurant.
