BLOOMSBURY | WC1
Tucked away just off Oxford Street, away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag, you'll find this casual South East Asian-inspired noodle bar. Serving up bowls of soupy or dry noodles, along with other Asian treats, an absolute stand out from their menu is the cold noodle salad for £6.50.
This vegetarian bowl features Asian pear, cucumber, pickled bok choi, goji berries, fried shallots, a six minute egg, and a sprinkling of sesame seeds, all mixed with their white miso sauce - the flavour is totally on point.
Don’t let the fact it’s chilled put you off; this is stomach-filling comfort food, with bursts of fresh flavour from the goji berries, and depth from the shallots. Tiger prawns or fried chicken can be added for £2, taking it just above our £8 mark, but worth considering if you’re especially hungry.
And don’t skimp on their chilli oil. Not too spicy, it’s absolutely first class, and addictive like anything. I highly recommend it. Note: mostly communal seating, along with several bar stools.
