Head chef Tom Dewey built Born & Raised, a mobile wood-fired pizzeria housed inside a Land Rover he bought back in 2011, in order to bring artisan British-inspired pizzas to the streets of London.
Combining fine Italian pizza dough made using top grade '00' flour, fresh yeast and filtered water, and responsibly sourced British ingredients, they deliver high quality pizzas at a reasonable price, around £7.50 a hit.
A lot of thought goes into their toppings and regularly changing menu, making use of local and seasonal produce, and free range meat they braise themselves. Think beef brisket with horseradish cream and watercress, Cobble Lane pepperoni with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil (pictured), and Somerset goats cheese on beetroot-infused dough with caramelised red onions and watercress.
They've kept the stereo loud in the Landy and installed an exhaust filter to keep her emissions low, only burning sustainably sourced British hard wood. Expect these pizzas to have a soft and chewy middle and a crisp outer layer, with a unique sourdough taste.
