One should never have to wait too long for pizza, so skip the queues at Franco Manca and head to Made of Dough's shipping container in Pop Brixton.
Ed (from Catania) and Henry (from Andalusia) will fire up Penelope (their oven) and sort you right out in record time with a stunning Neapolitan pizza topped with Southern Spain's finest ingredients.
A squishy yet smoky crust gives way to pizza soup in the middle, just the way I like it - be prepared to get a little messy. A margherita will set you back £6.50, and most others are £8-9 - we're talking Brindisa chorizo, piquillo peppers, Majorcan sobrasada and more.
They aren't as large as some of the beasts you get served these days, but there's plenty there to fill you up, and it's of the highest quality - one of my favourite pizza joints in London, and probably the smallest.
